Vintage Kasuga Showa PATIO MOONGLOW Stoneware Pitcher Carafe Coffee Pot No Lid Brown Stoneware with White Square Design

This stoneware pitcher or coffee pot by Showa is in the Patio Moonglow pattern, and is a brown stoneware piece accented with small white squares. The pitcher is large, measuring 9.75" tall and 6" in diameter at the base. The pitcher has a rustic brown finish, and a handle one one side. There are two smaller handles on the sides for a metal carrying handle which is missing. This piece is also missing the lid. The bottom is marked: STONEWARE / OVENPROOF / GENUINE / KASUGA / HANDCRAFTED / BY SHOWA / JAPAN. This is a thick, heavy stoneware piece and weighs over 3 1/2 pounds itself.
The pitcher is in good condition however there is a hairline crack near the spout that is about 3" long - this is sown in detail in the last 2 photos. The crack does leak when water is filled above the line.
