This great glass bird candle holder is a clear glass piece with a red coating over the clear glass to give it a red tint. The bird is 5" long, 2.755" wide, and 3" tall at the top of the tail. The bird is nicely detailed with accents on his wings, tail, and face. There is a 1.75" diameter opening on his back to hold a votive or tealight.
PLEASE NOTE: that this piece cannot be submerged in water or scrubbed on - this will peel off the red coating and you will have a clear glass bird!
The bird is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however there are some scratches on the red coating. The most noticeable areas have been photographed in detail and are shown in the last 2 photos. Very cute red glass bird candle holder!

This is adorable. I put it on a windowsill where I can often see real cardinals flying through the backyard. I love candle holders, but have rarely had one with this deep color.
