These cool plates by Mikasa are from the Constellation line and are the Jupiter pattern. This pattern was only made for one year, from 1980 - 1981 and pieces in this pattern are quite hard to find. Each plate measures 8 1/4" in diameter and is 1" high. The plates features black, beige, and white colored concentric circles. The back of each plate is marked: MIKASA / CONSTELLATION / PM701 JUPITER / OVEN TO TABLE / TO DISHWASHER / MICROWAVE SAFE / JAPAN. All 5 plates are in very good condition with no chips or cracks, and very few surface scratches. Nice set of Mikasa with a great modern pattern!
