This stoneware canning jar is 8" tall with the lid and 5.5" in diameter. It is a gray stoneware piece, and has a lid and bail. The opening at the top is 3.5" in diameter. The lid is marked: No 2. THE WIER PAT MAR 1st 92 APRIL 16 1901. The lid appears to be original to the base. The jar itself is not marked. The jar is in very nice condition for it's age. The metal bail is quite rusty, but still functions. Great old stoneware canning jar!
