This boxed set of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy is from 1965 and printed by Houghton Mifflin Co. This set includes the 3 books and the cardboard sleeve. All 3 books have their paper dust jackets, or can be displayed without the covers with the black cloth binding with gold lettering. The boxed set measures 9.25" tall, 4" wide, and 6.25" deep. The set is in nice condition but it is not perfect - there is areas of the paper label missing on the front of the box as well as one of the dust jacket spines of the paper covers. There is some light damage to the two other dust jackets as well. All 3 books have their attached maps at the end of each book. Two of the books have writing (a name and date) on the inside cover page. There is some light discoloration here and there on the back fabric of the books - most noticeable on number 2.
