These salad plates by Denby are in the Samarkand pattern and are the salad plates. Each plate is 8.25" in diameter and 1" high at the rim. These stoneware pieces are a dark brown with a tan and gold floral design in the center. They are marked on the back with the Denby Logo. There is a set of 4 and a set of 6 plates available - choose your set from the drop-down menu. The plates are in very nice condition, however they do show some light wear and there is one very small nick on the rim of one of the plates. There are some surface scratches from use. These plates have a matte finish - they are not glossy. Great set of Denby stoneware salad plates!
