This set of 2 plates by Salem are in the Weathervane pattern and are the dinner plates. They are 10" in diameter and 1" high at the rim. They are a white ceramic with a red, green, and black rooster and weathervane in the center, and green flowers on black iron scrolls around the rim of the plate. The back is marked: WEATHERVANE / SALEM / OVENPROOF / 65.
Both plates are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are some light surface scratches from use, and there is a scratch to the red area on the rooster on one of the plates - this is shown in detail in the last photo.
