This cute wooden bank is from 1976 and was made my Toystalgia. This bank is shaped like a train engine, and has images of windows around the engine with a train conductor and a dog. Both sides are marked CONTINENTAL RAILROAD. There is a wooden hitch piece on the back of the engine to attach other train cars. The The bottom of the bank is marked: TOYSTALGIA INC., 1976. It is 8" long, 4" wide, and 5.5" tall.
This bank is in good condition, but there are some nicks and scratches in the wood here and there, and there is one larger chip in the wood on the underside of the roof of the engine - this is shown in detail in the last photo. There is some darker wood grain running through one side of the bank as well. Very cute little wooden train bank!
