Vintage Wicker Woven Chicken Rooster Basket Set of 5 Red with Wood Feathers Kiangsi Shanghai Handicrafts
This set of chicken or rooster baskets includes one larger basket and 4 small baskets. The larger basket is 11" tall, 11" long, and 6" wide. The four small baskets are 5" tall, 6" long, and 3" wide. They are all a red colored wicker, and have red wooden accents and feathers. All of the baskets are 2 piece baskets - the top lifts off the base. The chickens all have 2 yellow and black plastic eyes attached. Several of the baskets have original labels that read: Kiangsi Handicrafts / Peoples Republic of China.
The baskets are in very nice condition, but do have a few small breaks or cracks in the wicker here and there. There is no major damage or areas of missing wicker or wood. The wooden feathers on the top of the head of the large basket have two tips broken off.
